Originally inspired by found sheet music of the 1889 song Oh Promise Me, which inspired the theme of promises made and broken as well as the color scheme. The collage layer includes the sheet music , thesaurus pages, an antique love letter, book pages from 1960s novel All Women are Fatal, and much more. Her face is includes the word ‘Promise” and came from a 100-year-old salvaged dictionary.
